ELRepo supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and its derivatives (Scientific Linux, CentOS & others). The ELRepo Project focuses on hardware related packages to enhance your experience with Enterprise Linux. This includes filesystem drivers, graphics drivers, network drivers, sound drivers, webcam and video drivers.
Having some trouble with ELRepo’s build of
kmod-NVIDIA.x86_64
, which is now 430.14. After installing, gdm
won’t start at boot.I see this info: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1046090/linux/rhel-7-6-x-server-will-not-start-using-latest-drivers-410-73-410-93-415-25-on-quadro-k2200-k620-k600/post/5342454/#5342454
I am inferring that I should have
glx 1.19
installed and then upgrade to 1.20
installing the NVIDIA driver, but I don’t understand how to uninstall 1.20
and reinstall 1.19
if 1.19
is no longer in the repositories. Do I have to go track it down and recompile from the source? This seems weirdly wrong and incorrect...?![Centos 7 Elrepo Kernel-lt Nvidia Driver Centos 7 Elrepo Kernel-lt Nvidia Driver](/uploads/1/2/5/8/125858155/188381430.jpg)
